Word Up #38: IMAGINE

"We can only create what we can imagine." ~ robert b. mackay

we start as children...imagining...invisible friends...fairytale princesses being rescued by their knights. we imagine that we can do anything, achieve anything, and be anything. we imagine purple polk-a-dot skies and soft yellow grass where unicorns roam among rainbows that never end.

of course as we grow...the skies become blue...and imaginary friends fade...and we replace all these things with dreams. we imagine what our lives will be like as adults, we imagine what it would be like to be a rock star and dance in an MTV video. we imagine we have endless amounts of time...

we all know life changes...the things we imagined and the things that really happen...but the power of it never goes away....it is the driving force behind dreams and beliefs...we imagine how our lives will be...we imagine how our children will grow up...we imagine what life would like without our loved ones...we imagine new dreams and new realities. we imagine how life could be any different then what it is...we imagine how different life could really be...we imagine all this, and we create it. not with crayons and paper,like we did as children...but with life, with actions, with beliefs...we create what we imagine by living.

this is what guided my canvas as i looked at my photo...seeing this beautiful journey of the imagination before my 2 year old daughter. so please share with us all that you imagine!! and only imagine what you could do with a kit from red velvet...our funky and fabulous sponsor this week!!!
