Word up #7: SEEK

O.K.....deep breath....
This is my week to give all of you amazing artists a word....& whoa nelly....it has got me a little nervous. Since we've started on this road with you all to explore words and create art, I've gotta tell you...there has been many times when I'm making the rounds looking at all of your creations and I've been brought to tears. You all have made me think....you've made me laugh so hard it hurts....and you've definitely made me smile. It always amazes me that you all are so willing to share your heart and your art with all of us and I am immensely thankful....and I'm also going to admit that LOTS of times it was just what i needed. Because even though we are all from different walks of life, different parts of the globe, speak different languages, are different ages, create in our own unique styles...we are all in this together somehow...and together we are SEEKING to live a better life...to record the good stuff (and the not so good stuff)...to further explore our art...to remember what it was like right here, right now...to tell our own story...to love a bit deeper...to be truer to ourselves...and in the meantime, have a bit of fun.

And for those of you that know me....you know that I'm constantly on a quest to peel back the layers of the onion (as Shrek would say) & SEEK out what makes me tick...what makes my heart full...what makes me happy...what makes me smile....what drives me crazy....what makes me laugh....what makes me vulnerable....what makes me who I am....I guess you could say I'm a SEEKER (I always loved that part in hide and go seek too :)

so....i'm thinking you've all guessed what this week's word is....it is SEEK :)
