Word Up #13: DELIGHT

i've been craving delight so much lately...it seems like ever since school started in september i've just been going through the motions, rushing from one thing to the next, flying through my day with my "to do" list still full and nothing checked off...and let me tell you...it is starting to get to me...i need some delight in my everyday.

and i got to thinking...just because i lead a busy life, rushed and stressed, overwhelmed and harried, that does not mean that i can not delight in my everyday.   i need to shift my focus...i need to consciously choose DELIGHT...it is there for my taking

a wise friend of mine recently shared a quote with me...
"This is the beginning of a new day...You have been given this day to use as you will...You can waste it or use it for good...What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day in your life for it...When tomorrow comes this day will be gone forever; in its place is something that you have left behind...let it be something good." - Amby Nic Montage

i love those words...i needed to be reminded of that...

so, i'm going to turn over a new leaf...i'm going to strive to consciously choose DELIGHT...anyone want to join me? :)

Loved this word, truly loved it. My layout title is my DELIGHT is reading. I used black and white patterned paper with letters on it to go with the words and reading theme and then used red, a powerful and strong color, to show how much I love reading. I hope you like it. I'm proud of it and glad to create a layout about my love of reading.
