Hey Girls! Well by now most of you know that I love transfers.... I love the way they look, a little bit messy a little bit grungy and worn out... Love that look so here is another one:
You will need a jar of Golden Gel medium,( i got mine at Michaels.) I used the regular matte gel. You can use pictures printed right from your printer, (which I love cause then you can do them anytime and not have to wait to get pictures photocopied.) Print your pictures off on regular computer paper. You will need a bone folder or something so that you can burnish your image down on to your recipient paper. I have been doing lots of tags for Christmas presents...they are so cute!
Lets get started: Print your picture off.
Paint your gel medium on to a tag or piece of patterned paper.... Basically whatever you want your image on to.
Put your picture face down on to your tag, press down firmly with your fingers
and then burnish it.... Leave it for about 5 minutes...
Lift your picture off carefully. ink your tag up and decorate is as you desire...
I have done this method with words printed from my computer.... Here is a layout that I did it on the background using old antique book paper.... the words are reversed though so you have to like that look.... I love it!
Hope you like it! And here are some other tags:

Thanks for this cool technique! I hope to make it to Michael's soon for the gel medium!

I love to transfer!!!
But I want to ask, what does 'burnish' mean? Does it mean that you burn it with the heattool?? I don't understand the english word...so sorry for my stupid question!

What a great technique, I'm certainly gonna try it. I hope I can find the gel somewhere, I've never heard of it...
