Word Up #17: STEPS

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! I hope the transition was special for all of you!!!! As I sat down to think about this weeks word I immediately started thinking about the future. What I think 2008 will hold. What I can do to make it fabulous :) One thing that I wanted to change from this past year to the next is my commitment to myself and to the people so very close to me. I tend to over complicate things...get flustered with my everyday: kids, school, leisure, marriage, family...all things. I tend get priorities all out of wack and I forget to simply say thank you.

So I chose to focus on my new years resolution. To slow down, take the time to let the ones that I love know that I do love them. To say thank you...to keep my promises. To take little STEPS and count everybody twice. It's a huge thing for me with the way my life flows but everything starts with one STEP at a time. So my word for this week is STEPS. I thought of many things with this word...most of which made me laugh out loud :)  So many possibilities! But this particular meaning hit home.

Remember to go one STEP at a time and finish those awesome layouts by Friday, January 11th, Midnight Mountain time (-7 GMT). We can't wait to be amazed!!!!

great word girls! First I didn't know what to do, but suddenly a whole titel came up in my head, and well, here it is!

The titel has two meanings to me, on my weblog I explain it.

I used paper from basic grey, prima clear stamps and flowers, strass stones, letters from scenic route, rubons from making memories, my minds eye cards, fancy pants creative cards, and a stamp from creamotion.
