Word Up #29: STRONG

Strong. What a powerful word.

This word has been repeated several times to me in the past several months from my blog readers so this word is for YOU.

I have struggled with what to write about this word for a little while because it is such an emotional word for me. Something I have learned is that being strong does not mean that you can not be weak and broken. That comes with trying to find strength. Strength the get through the day. Strength to move on and live.
I have learned that it is OK to be broken because through that brokenness you will heal and become strong. It's a character pruning process I think.

So we would love to know what comes to your mind when you hear the word STRONG.
Is it a personal reflection? Is it about a family member or friend? Or does it simply bring candid thoughts to your mind?
