Word Up # 48: READY

Are you READY? prepared, set, all set, organized, primed, informal fit, psyched up, geared up?

"what are you waiting for than?". that's the one question that is going through my mind lately. you know, when your heart made the decision long time ago, but your mind still needs some time. to over think. to get used to. to reflect. to consider. to wonder. to ponder. but than all of a sudden, like a breath of fresh spring air on a cloudy day, you KNOW you are READY. for the next step or for whatever it is you are thinking of. you know this feeling?

When I saw the word yesterday I thought, Oh my gosh, ready for what? After a moment or two I had the answer. Five year old great-nephew and friends playing on a T-Ball team. Are they really "ready" for baseball. Nope! Oh, but they are so cute playing on the field!
