What is One Little Word?
Welcome to One Little Word, also known as OLW. This is your place to reflect on and celebrate the power of WORDS. Every other week our Creative Team will bring you awesome pages and projects focused on One Little Word to inspire you. We encourage you to take the plunge and create along with us. Here anything goes...your imagination is the limit. And don't forget to check out the cool tips we dish out between each challenge!!!!
How do I play along?
ANYONE can play along, we call you Wordsters. We are a global challenge blog! We love that our Wordsters come from across this world! Just take our word and let your creative juices flow. Layouts of all sizes, mini albums, art journals, tags, canvases, Home Decor, etc are welcomed. Traditional, Hybrid, Digital too. We just want to inspire you. We post a new WORD (aka WORD UP!) every other Wednesday. You have until the following Friday by Midnight Mountain Time (GMT -7:00) to link up your projects to here.
I've created my project, now what do I do?
You need to upload your project somewhere online. We don't care where as long as you share. It is your personal preference and we love them all. You can upload to an online gallery like TwoPeas, Create my Keepsake, or SIStv (or ANY others you may belong to). A personal blog, or our FLICKR Account. Basically somewhere for us all to see your creation.
Do I HAVE to post on Flickr?
No, it is just a free & easy way to share your projects.
How do I use the Flickr Account?
You need to create your own account. It is easy & free. Then select One Little Word as one of your groups. Once you have uploaded your layout to Flickr, click on that project. At the top is a small button that reads "send to group." Send it to the OLW group.
Do I need to post a link my project here? Even if I post it on Flickr?
Absolutely please. The more details, the better. We need you to copy & paste your FULL link in the COMMENT section so we can find your layout easily. It needs to go on that particular WORD UP post.
How many times can we enter? Can we use layouts that we also post on other challenges?
Enter as many layouts/projects as you want! We love that you are creating using One Little Word. We never mind you using layouts that are created for other challenges. Again, we are just so happy you are participating with us and our fellow challenge sites.
Do you look at every project? Do you comment on every layout?
WE review every layout when linked properly to our comment section. We try really hard to comment on every project but we can't join every online forum. But please know that every entry is VERY important to us.
When do you post the selected winner? Does everyone's layout/project make the slide show?
We post the selected winner on the Monday following the Friday deadline. We also include layouts that catch our eyes and highlight the diversity of our Wordsters but unfortunately can't include everyone in the slide show. But please know that every entry is VERY important to us.
Who are the Guest Designers?
Occasionally we use our loyal Wordsters to help create layouts right along side the Creative Team. Who knows, you may be next!
